Yap Pacific Divers Boat, Diving Yap Island

How does a typical day diving look like with us?

We set all the departure times according to the tides – there is a slight change of departure time every day. Therefore we get the best diving conditions possible!

After you have enjoyed your breakfast, we would ask you to come to the Dive Center, which is only a few steps away form the restaurant.

Your equipment and our „extra equipment“ (BCD, Regulator, Spare parts, First aid kit and Wenoll case) will already be on one of our boats – after a brief check, if you have everything on board for the day, you will analyze your Nitrox at our Nitrox Control Point on the pier – we bring your tanks aboard and we are ready to go.

After having arrived at the dive site, your equipment has been set up already by our staff, our dive guide will draw a map of the reef and will brief

Manta Ray diving with Yap Pacific Divers, Yap scuba diving you on the dive site and all safety issues. Finally your first dive of the day – we are diving in small groups of 4 divers per guide – in times when we have many guest, the ratio can go up to maximum 6 divers per guide.

After the first dive we will refresh you with hot tea, iced tea, water and snacks. Our staff will set up your equipment for the second dive, while you enjoy the refreshments and the environment.

Our boats are equipped with towels – no need to bring your own.

After the second briefing (and some diver stories :-)) back into the water, to experience your second exciting dive of the day.

After a lunch break, during which we invite you to try the specialities of Traders' Lounge & Grill or our Pool Side Cafe, you can participate on a third dive.

Or you can book a three tank day (additional $40.-- for the third tank) in which case the boat does not return to the center. If you decide for a three tank day we would like to ask you the day before to choose your lunch Bento for the day, which is complimentary for all three tank days.
